Data Analyst, Homeless Planning Team
Brief info

Jeremy Nieves joined the Homeless Planning Team with Monarch Housing Associates in January 2025 as a CoC Data Analyst for Monmouth County. He graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in sociology.

His experience working with and analyzing data at the Affordable Housing Alliance (a nonprofit affordable housing, and homeless prevention/services provider in Monmouth and Ocean County NJ), directly led to his interest in working with Monarch. Seeing some of the gaps and room for improvement in the quality of data being tracked for homeless services, he wanted to dive deeper into directly improving some of the systematic inefficiencies and help support the overall homeless planning process for Monmouth County and New Jersey.

At Monarch, Jeremy assists Monmouth County’s CoC with program level data quality, serves as a point of contact for partner agencies to address issues identified in monitoring, analyzes data to help evaluate and optimize system level performance, and creates dashboards and reports to aid in these endeavors. He also works with Monarch’s Data Team on building and improving statewide data processes and reports.
