Ali Naim Butt joined the Homeless Planning Team at Monarch Housing Associates in October 2025 as a CoC Data Analyst for Ocean County. He holds a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning and a Master of Science in Public Informatics from Rutgers University, along with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Sciences and Technology in Pakistan.
Ali brings a strong background in data analytics, policy research, and system optimization across public, nonprofit, and international development sectors. Prior to joining Monarch, he worked with Rutgers University, the Municipality of Princeton, the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan, and the Asian Development Bank, where he led data-driven initiatives related to urban planning, financial modeling, and large-scale program evaluation.
At Monarch, Ali supports Ocean County’s CoC by improving program-level data quality, collaborating with partner agencies to address data and reporting challenges, and analyzing system performance to inform strategic decision-making. He develops dashboards and reports to enhance transparency and efficiency across the homeless services system and contributes to statewide data initiatives aimed at strengthening data processes and outcomes.
