Casey Pannell joined Monarch Housing Association in June 2026 as a Homeless Planning Consultant on the Homeless Planning team, in this role, Casey works with communities within Bergen County to support local homeless response efforts through planning, data informed decision-making, and collaborates with local organizations.
Before joining Monarch, Casey spent more than seven years working alongside individuals experiencing home, housing instability, and behavioral health challenges. As Program Manager at Back on My Feet, Casey rebuilt and managed multi-site programing, developed community partnerships, and lead volunteers to create meaningful opportunities that support individuals on their path towards stable housing and employment, Casey previously worked as a Clinical Case Manager and Crisis Support professional with Safe Place for Youth in Los Angeles, where she provided trauma-informed outreach and supported individuals experiencing homelessness and mental health crises.
Casey earned a Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of the Arts. They are passionate about strengthening communities through collaboration, equity, and person-centered solutions that help ensure everyone has access to safe, stable housing and the opportunity to thrive.
